70 years and 1 day old. We had most of the family here and Hannah, Sara, TJ and I did the Kevin's Run in West Lynn. It was advertised as an 8k but was 5.6 miles long. So longer. And brutal in terms of the cross country part. steep slippery hills, 4 times through the water and all in all exhausting. But, you know, fun. We didn't stay for the party so I'm not sure how I fared against the other 70 year olds. There appeared to be a few and they seems better prepared for the difficult parts that I dreaded...especially the steep downhills.
Today I did a 5 mile run around the river in Portland. Slowly but went ok. Still with sore groin muscles. I'm not doing them any favors with this running. I may give in and see someone. Not yet.
Still need some better photos as well.
